Vaccination against major diseases is a key component of health programs in the poultry and swine industry. Field vaccination requires an operator to handle and inject every animal, which is an expensive and time consuming process. TransAlgae’s oral delivery microalgae is mixed directly in the feed -  a cost saving alternative. To date, TransAlgae has successfully demonstrated the intact and functional delivery of protein based APIs to poultry and mice. We are leveraging our breakthrough platform to replace animal health injectables with algae-based oral delivery.
